RGI Co-Founders, Soozi and Shal, were so honored to receive the Unsung Hero Award at the annual United Negro College Fund Pacific Northwest “A Mind Is…” Gala, in Seattle on February 28, 2015. The mission of the annual gala is to recognize corporations, foundations, and individuals in the Pacific Northwest who have made a commitment to support minority education. Soozi and Shal were honored for their vision and mission to minority education. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the UNCF Pacific Northwest Scholarship Fund and the UNCF Campaign for Emergency Student Aid.
